  • Is it necessary to write the name of laws next to the working?
    • No. You just need to use it correctly.
  • Will marks be deducted for using R.H.S =... L.H.S =...?
    • Yes and No. Depends on the marking scheme for that particular year. To be safe, cut one side and continue from the other side till done.
  • Can I use other methods such as Venn Diagram/Definition of sets/etc
    • No. Unless the question instructs you to do so, or allow you to do so ( by saying "or otherwise" ).
  • Is the Adsorption Law/ Subset laws really in the syllabus?
    • I don't know ;). Some books have it, some don't. To date, no STPM questions have required it. Do note though that the syllabus is just a document, the people who sets the questions, are, well, people (who might interpret things differently).
